Product description:
Are you a pastry chef, restaurateur, baker, ice cream maker, cooking school or just passionate about cooking with the highest quality vanilla pods? You have come to the right place!

Native Vanilla beans bring a tantalizingly delicious flavor and aroma to any recipe. Our Sepik Export Gourmet Tahitian Vanilla is hand selected from the finest curing processes by our micro-farmer cooperative in PNG’s East Sepik province and are certified Grade A, premium quality vanilla beans. Grade A vanilla beans are visually attractive and can be used as a feature ingredient in gourmet cuisine. These beans add a smooth rich background taste- use to balance sauces for shellfish, chicken, and veal or soften dairy flavors in desserts. Add to a mug of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea for added richness.

Store the fresh vanilla beans in a tightly sealed airtight container, preferably a glass jar. Keep them away from heat and in a dark place such as a pantry or dark cabinet. Do not refrigerate the beans because this can cause them to mold. Once you split the vanilla pods open with a knife or kitchen scissors and scrape out the vanilla seeds, put the leftover pods in sugar to make vanilla sugar.

We hope you get as much satisfaction from these vanilla beans in your recipes as we do in bringing them to you. Native Vanilla is about a lot more than beans. We are a company that is passionate about helping people. We strive to improve communities in Papua New Guinea by providing training and resources to micro-farmers. Then they can raise the yield and quality of their crop thereby improving their financial security. Native Vanilla is focused on, assisting around 400 micro-farmers, with plans to double that number within a year. When you purchase Native Vanilla products remember this; you’re not only getting the world’s finest vanilla; you’re also doing a world of good. Thank you.

Sooo Fragrant

I bought these as a birthday gift for my brother- a former chef who requested Tahitian Vanilla Beans especially. He said he didn't even have to check the mailing label- the beans were so fragrant, their scent came right through the packaging. Thank you for the beans and your continued work.

Very high quality

I'm shocked by the extremely high quality of the grade A vanilla beans. The aroma reminds me of sweet and fine tobacco with deep, earthy, and slight floral notes. What an amazing vanilla bean. I'm completely baffled as to why the vanilla extract is either translucent or clear, and flavorless when they have access to this outstanding vanilla bean????
