These vanilla beans are grown in Timor-Leste which is in the Timor Sea, an arm of the Indian Ocean, lying southeast of the island of Timor, Indonesia, and northwest of Australia. Timor-Leste vanilla beans are hard to get your hands on. These dark, fleshy pods are full of seeds and their length varies between 18 to 22 cm.
These Grade A gourmet Timor-Leste vanilla beans are long and slender and have a high oil and moisture content of 30-35%. Timor-Leste vanilla beans are a great addition to add to desserts or beverages to boost sweet, fruity, or rich flavors.
